Manute Bol 3x3 Tournament

To qualify for major international FIBA 3x3 competitions from 2026, such as the FIBA 3x3 World Cups, Zone Cups, the Olympics, and the U23 Nations League, the South Sudan Basketball Federation (SSBF) organized the Manute Bol 3x3 Tournament.

The tournament included two categories: Men’s and Women’s. A total of 20 teams participated, six women’s teams and fourteen men’s teams showing the growing talent in South Sudan for 3x3 basketball.

The matches were played over two days at different venues. The first day, November 1st, was at the Manute Bol Court at Juba University. The finals took place on November 2nd at Nimra Talata Basketball Stadium.

In the Men’s category, Team GSNA became the champions, with Jam City finishing as runners-up. In the Women’s category, She-Rulers won the tournament, with Valeska as the runners-up. Both the winners and the runners-up received cash prizes.

This tournament highlighted the talent and competitive spirit of South Sudanese basketball players. It was an important step towards opening opportunities for our teams to compete internationally.

The SSBF remains dedicated to advancing basketball in the country and striving for success on the international stage. In line with this commitment, the federation plans to host two additional 3x3 activities this November. Further details regarding the schedule and upcoming dates will be announced soon.
