Women’s Afrobasket: 15-Player Training Camp Roster

The SSD Women’s National Team training camp for the Women’s Afrobasket is officially underway in the city of Segovia, Spain, with 15 talented players invited to participate and showcase their skills.

Over the course of a three weeks training camp, led by Head Coach Alberto Antuna, the team will follow a schedule designed to prepare them for the 2025 Women’s Afrobasket, which will be held in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. This will be the women’s team’s first-time participation in the tournament.

In April 2025, the draw for the tournament was held, placing South Sudan in Group B alongside Mali and Cameroon. The competition is scheduled from July 26th until August 3rd.
